M25E1-1 surgery!

Yes, you heard me. The Vornado went into surgery around 9:01 AM today. The motor has been opened and the wiring is being replaced with new wiring. Work will continue throughout the day and hopefully by the end of today I should have it finished. Wish me the best of luck guys!

No Zach, not nearly as difficult as the Chelsea motor but I was impressed on the inside. A very well built machine.

Glad you got it fixed. I take it you used solder & heat shrink on the connections, or at least good butt-connectors, right?

soldering, strong electrical tape and then shrinktube.
