Signal Model 161400 - 16 inch Cool Spot Oscillator

Here's a video I shot of another Signal Cool Spot in my possession, it's going to a friend of mine for her 50's house. It'll be a display piece she can also use when the weather turns hot, which can still happen in Southern California (those who live here know the Santa Ana winds).

It seems that Signal changed their model number scheme after 1955, this fan's predecessor is the Model 1649 which was made from 1950 to 1954. The 161400 is the same basic 16 inch oscillator with three speeds, according to the date code this fan was made in June of 1956.
