Ivory Emerson 77648 AO

Post by Duane B. on Sat Sep 19, 2009 3:18 pm

Well, I got my Ivory Emerson 77648 AO back from being restored. Originally this fan had a wrinkle finish to it, but we decided to go with regular glossy paint for a more slick appearance. The paintwork was done by Bert Boudreaux of the AFCA, and looks fantastic!!

Pics are pending!

Pics!

Post by Duane B. on Sat Sep 19, 2009 7:11 pm

I've had the itch for an Emerson 77648 fan for a while now, as well as an Ivory 77 series. Well, I got both in this fan.

It is a model 77648 AO, made in 1948 according to the date stamp and is an original Ivory fan. It originally had wrinkle finish on the base and motor housing, which Bert and I agreed should be changed out to a super slick base / clear paintjob. A big improvement if I do say so.

At any rate, here are some pics!
